All I can say is THANK YOU!  Thanks to many friends and family members, this day was not as miserable as I  had anticipated.  I am anxious for tomorrow, but I have no reason to doubt that God will get me through.  The girls and I will do our best to keep the blog updated as much as we can!

  1. Robin,
"I can do all things through he who strengthens me", Phil. 4:13. One of my favorites.
I've been thinking of you all day. I hope you are doing well. Love and hugs,

  2. Robin,
Praying for peace, patience, and good results for you tomorrow. I pray your surgery goes well and God guides the hands of the doctors performing it.

  3. Dear Robin,

You are a strong lady and it shows in the way you are handling all of this. I'm so proud of you!! You truly are showing how one can deal with trials when you put your faith and trust in God. Praying for you tonight and tomorrow...may you feel at peace surrounded by the arms of a loving Savior. Also praying for Randy and the girls...patience, courage, strength for all of you!!

    Corla :)

  4. Robin,
You are such a courageous woman. I pray that God will give you peace and rest tonight. I pray for a successful surgery and for you to continue to stay strong. Give Him all your worries and remember you are surrounded by love!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
    Proverbs 3:5

    Love you! Krystle

  5. Robin,
Just thinking about you and your big day tomorrow. Praying for strength for all of you.

  6. Robin,

We too pray for God to guide your surgeons’ hands and that they become a conduit of God’s grace and healing in performing a successful procedure.

We also pray for peace, tranquility, patience, and love for you and your family.

We pray that God gives you comfort in your recovery, relief in the results of your surgery, and a quick and painless treatment plan that eradicates this cancer from your body.

We pray for freedom from what must be an overwhelming collage of worry, fear, and sadness, as you travel through this journey and that He lifts you up as a testament of His glorious power.

I am not versed in the Bible, I am impressed and moved by many of the passages I have read in your blog. In my humbling attempt to find a passage that would give you strength I came across the following:
    Job 6:18
    For he wounds, but he also binds up;
he injures, but his hands also heal.

This reminds me that we live His plan, you have been wounded and injured, and now it is time for God to heal you.

May the Holy Spirit fill us all with the grace, peace, and love He freely offers to us for the asking, and that we glorify Him as we accept his gifts.

As I told Randy, anything we can do, please just ask.

    Clarke Reberg and family.

  7. Robin,

  9. Good Morning Robin,

It's me again. It's Thursday morning, and you were the first thing on my mind this morning. :) My devotional started with this verse perfect for you (and me, too) 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you. May this verse and all the others you have received along with all of the prayers being said give you and your family the peace you need for this day and the days ahead.

Stay strong and positive! God has great things planned for you!!!

    Corla :)

  10. Robin,
You're on my mind this morning. I pray that your fears and worries will be calmed today knowing that God is loving you and wrapping his arms around you! I pray that the girls and Randy will also be calm and at peace today.

    Love, Krystle

    Love, your cousin, Kristin

  12. Robin: You are in our prayers. God has you in his hands and he won't let go.
"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ, Jesus." Phil. 4:7.
    Beth Williams

  13. Robin,
You are on my heart this morning. Praying for you, your doctors and your family. You got this girl.

"I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear, I will help you." Isaiah 41:13

  14. Robin,
This was actually Emily's latest post...a true testament to the answering ability and promises of our Great and Good God ...."In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation." -Psalm 5
    Love and peace,
