I was able to teach today and it felt so good to be back at school. The day went by really fast. I took a 20 minute cat nap after school and am now trying to stay awake until at least 9:00 so I can sleep through the night and do it all over again tomorrow!
Thank you all for your prayers during the 1st chemo treatment. I have been feeling amazingly well since the treatment. The doctors all had me prepared for side effects that just have not happened. You can imagine how grateful I am about that!
God is GOOD!!

If Sikma hasn't shared her "emergency sick day" box idea with you, make sure you ask her about it. It is a good one, just in case. Glad you are feeling great so far. I bet your kiddos are glad you are at school, too!
ReplyDeleteHi Robin,

ReplyDeleteGood to hear your voice the other day. If you get the chance, there is a video on YouTube that I would like you to check out. It is called "Wildest Ride on Earth". This video and song were inspired by my friend, Lynda, who went through breast cancer four years ago. She had a very vivid dream that the producers of the video then used to make this. I am an 'extra' in the roller coaster scenes as they were filmed at Michigan Adventure. The woman in the video is from the area as well - she volunteered to do this and is not an actress. The words are powerful and get me every time I watch it. I will continue to pray for you. Janet
