Survived Monday

I was able to teach today and it felt so good to be back at school. The day went by really fast. I took a 20 minute cat nap after school and am now trying to stay awake until at least 9:00 so I can sleep through the night and do it all over again tomorrow!

Thank you all for your prayers during the 1st chemo treatment. I have been feeling amazingly well since the treatment. The doctors all had me prepared for side effects that just have not happened. You can imagine how grateful I am about that!

God is GOOD!!

  1. Dear Robin,

Yahoo!! God is so good indeed. :) May you continue to feel his presence as you take one step, one day, one month at a time. So glad you are feeling well and all is well at school. Enjoy every bit of it!!

  2. I'm with Corla!!!!!!!! Glad you're back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. If Sikma hasn't shared her "emergency sick day" box idea with you, make sure you ask her about it. It is a good one, just in case. Glad you are feeling great so far. I bet your kiddos are glad you are at school, too!

  4. Hi Robin,
I am so glad to hear that you have been feeling well since your treatment. God is great! I am happy to hear that teaching has been wonderful too! Enjoy your day tomorrow. I will pray for rest for you.

    Love, Krystle

  5. Dear Robin,

I'm so glad that all has gone so well with your first treatment. I'll be praying that it stays that way. Sleep peacefully in God's love and care. See you tomorrow at school.

  9. Rob:

Good to hear your voice the other day. If you get the chance, there is a video on YouTube that I would like you to check out. It is called "Wildest Ride on Earth". This video and song were inspired by my friend, Lynda, who went through breast cancer four years ago. She had a very vivid dream that the producers of the video then used to make this. I am an 'extra' in the roller coaster scenes as they were filmed at Michigan Adventure. The woman in the video is from the area as well - she volunteered to do this and is not an actress. The words are powerful and get me every time I watch it. I will continue to pray for you. Janet
