This morning I noticed my left arm and hand were much more swollen than usual. After my appointment with Dr. Dodde, I went to see my nurse, Darcie, at Cancer and Hematology. She thought it looked bad enough to talk to the doctor. After an hour there, I was sent to the hospital for another ultra sound. Two and a half hours later, I was told that the ultra sound was not showing a blood clot of any kind, but there seems to be a problem with the port. Now I am waiting for the scheduler to call to tell me when I get to go have a portogram. I have no idea what a portogram is and googling it isn't helping me!
After 5 hours in doctors offices today, I can hardly wait until tomorrow!
I will update as soon as I know more.
Robin
Praying for peace and rest for you tonight, Robin.

So sorry to hear about your day. You definitely were not kidding when you said your arm just didn't feel right! Praying for sleep tonight and answers tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Corla :)
Yikes! Hope for your arm to be back to normal soon. Otherwise you may just have to tell people you only ate half your spinach so that is why you only have "muskles" in one arm. :) Happy Friday, Robin!
ReplyDeleteSo it wasn't looking right for a reason! So much for the time to get ready for Kylie's birthday (hope it was a good one for her anyway). Praying that the portogram shows what's up and that it's easily fixable. You'll be able to start designing dr.'s offices after spending so much time in them! Let me know if I can do anything.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Sue
You're right...I don't believe it. I'll be praying for you all day. Please update for all of us when you have some info. Love, Laurie
ReplyDeleteI also need a portogram and Google is no help. Can you please tell me what to expect?
